Open the Book

Our ‘Open the Book' team consists of 11 members, who re-enact bible stories in an engaging way, bringing them alive through drama, props and dressing up (ravens, a serpent, and lions being just a few of our recent ones!)

Every Tuesday, the team enjoys sharing these stories within Baddow Hall Infant & Junior schools.

It’s a great privilege to share bible stories and the love of God in this creative way, with those who may or may not have heard them before.

We’re always open to more volunteers joining us in our work within the schools. If you’d like to join the team, then please speak to Funmilayo Vaughan – the only qualifications being a heart for children, a desire to tell them of God’s love, and the willingness to dress-up and make a fool of yourself!
