We encourage and organize worship of our Lord in a variety of ways. We try to include traditional and contemporary elements in our worship and whilst incorporating different styles, our over-riding aim is to help people gain a closer and more fulfilling relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Our services attract people from different backgrounds, with different experiences and with a wide age-range and our aim is to assist all in drawing closer to God. Communion is central to the life and work of St Mary’s Church and features, at different times, in all three Sunday services and on Wednesday mornings. We warmly invite all those attending our services to take communion with us should that be their normal practice in their own church. Midweek services include Holy Communion and Switched On. We also organise services on major festival days such as Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. |
